Christmas: The Birth of Our Savior

Because so often we still look inward, or out to the world, instead of up to Christ, for our peace.

Because so often we are crippled by our insecurities.

Because so often we carry a heavy burden of shame from our past.

It’s Christmas time.

He came to lift our chins up to His loving gaze and free us from our chains…… forever.

Jesus, the greatest gift the world has ever known.

This video was created in preparation for presenting the meaning of Christmas to a classroom of 2nd graders. I had two great joys while putting this video together. First, the honor and privilege of sharing the story of Christ with children who may have never heard the true meaning of Christmas has brought a smile to my heart. My second great joy was hearing my daughter’s voice as she read scripture to me. It’s quite a beautiful thing to hear truth spoken out of your child’s mouth.
